KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

	Prof. Ir. Dr. Riza Atiq Rahmat is currently the director of Academic Advancement Centre, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the national university of Malaysia. The centre is responsible of the capacity building of UKM staffs, technology enhanced learning and curriculum innovation. Although his main interest and expertise is in the field of Intelligent Transport System, he is also actively involved in learning-teaching research activities. The research output has shaped many UKM academic policies and future direction of the university. Currently, he is also the Chief Editor of ASEAN Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

	Prof. Dato' Hassan Basri is currently Professor of Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia). Prof Hassan previously served as Dean of Engineering (2000 – 2007), Head of Civil Engineering (1996-2000), Director for Research & Innovation Management (2007-2008), Director for Corporate Planning & Communications (Feb-August 2008) and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic & International Affairs (2008-2011). His current research projects include the development of an automated prototype with intelligent vision sensors for sorting recycled containers and intercultural communication modules for international student mobility in engineering education. Prof Hassan currently leads the UKM Zero Waste Campus initiative – a cluster of action-research projects targeting elimination of all solid waste produced by the UKM Bangi campus.
