
ICEESE 2026
It is our esteemed pleasure to officially announce the convening of the 2026 IEEE 9th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, and System Engineering (ICEESE 2026) in Kanazawa, Japan, November 25th – 26th, 2026. The conference shall be organized under the auspices of the IEEE Malaysia Education Society and co-organized by the Engineering and Technical Research Group (EnTER), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, and Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT). ICEESE 2026 aspires to become a landmark event in sparking a wave of transformative advancements in electrical, electronics, and systems engineering. Scholars and researchers from across the globe will converge to ignite collaborations, unveil cutting-edge innovations, and propel the field toward a brighter future.
Publication
The proceedings of ICEESE 2026 may be eligible for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, once they meet the requirements of an IEEE quality review and possibly indexed in Scopus.
Conference Mode
Physical and Virtual Presentation. The conference is being organized in a hybrid mode, allowing international participants outside Malaysia to present virtually and encouraging them to attend physically. Please note that, local presenter is required for physical presentation.
Conference Dress Code
A quick note on our conference dress code for all presenters (physical and online):
- Dress code: Business casual/formal/Batik/national formal wear.
- Acceptable: Professional dresses, skirts (at or below the knee), pantsuits, blazers, and slacks. Sandals are acceptable for women as long as they are not flip-flops.
- Unacceptable: Shorts, short skirts, flip-flops, beachwear, or any casual attire.
Virtual Presentation Mode (Video Preparation)
If you have opted to present virtually, please ensure that you prepare a video of your presentation. Failure to submit this video will result in the application of the IEEE No-Show Policy, which means that your paper will not be published.
Additionally, all virtual presenters are required to be available during the conference on the scheduled presentation day to participate in the Q&A session. The presentation schedule will be shared soon.
The format of the video are as follows:-
- Video Length: Please ensure that the video is no longer than 10 minutes.
- Video Format: You are free to use any method or medium for your presentation as long as it can be converted into a video and uploaded to YouTube. A simple option is to use PowerPoint and convert it into a video.
- Presentation Style: The style of your video is entirely up to your creativity. You may choose to:
i) Record your presentation using audio with presentation slides.
ii) Or record yourself while giving the presentation. - Video Link: Please upload your video to YouTube and make sure that the link is Public/Unlisted. Once you have uploaded, please email the YouTube link to –> enter@uitm.edu.my not later than 30th October 2026.

IEEE No-Show Policy
Please take note that IEEE has a strict policy on no-show. Therefore, if your paper is accepted, one of the authors and their representatives MUST PRESENT their paper at the conference, either by appearing physically or online.
Papers with no-show participants without a valid reason will not be submitted to IEEExplore. No refund of the paid fees may be claimed by the no-show author.
